Yamato (Matt) Ishida is one of the original chosen children in Digimon. He bears the crest of friendship and his digimon partner is Gabumon. He has a younger half brother Takeru (TK), who, in the first series, liked to crotch glomp him a lot. Yamato was the 'cool' kid, who always tried to make people think he didn't care while at the same time trying to look out for his little brother (the little crotch glomper) and play the harmonica. He argued with Taichi a lot about decisions and they fought several times, but ended up best friends. In the second series Yamato is the lead singer of his own rock band, the 'Teenage wolves' and only helps the new children a couple of times. He appears to be dating Sora, which causes a problem between Sora, Taichi and Yamato, as it was pretty obvious in the first series that Taichi and Sora had something going on. He's most mentioned by Daisuke's mad older sister who has a major crush on him and stalks him, and most shown when the children go to his concerts. Teenage Wolves seem to be the only rock band in their city O.o. Sheltered.
